Catharsis - Life

Drawings and paintings of sheets of paper that become increasingly crumpled as they are marked by the passage of time. Throughout life, we grow creased and fragmented by damaging experiences, but it is through these experiences that we grow and mature, becoming stronger and wiser along the way. A painting of my collage of a woman's face that I first constructed with colorized, torn, and crumpled paper concludes this series.
